About the role:
Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, IAS
Working accross a range of clients and entity structures (companies, individuals, trusts, partnerships and SMSF)
Assisting with year-end tax planning
Managing accounting and compliance work from beginning to end
Liaising with clients to gather information and resolve queries
Potentially supporting and mentoring one or two junior team members
The firm uses MYOB AE and Class. Previous SMSF experience is not essential, with training available.
About You:
Experience preparing accounts and tax returns across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
A minimum of three years’ experience within an Australian accounting firm
A relevant degree in accounting, commerce or a related discipline
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
A methodical, organised approach and pride in producing accurate work
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
