Assistant Treasury Risk Analyst | Bank of China Sydney

Bank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Assistant Treasury Risk Analyst to join the Sydney Office.

This is a Two Year Term Contract, with robust potential to convert to an ongoing role upon successful completion.

Responsibilities:
Monitoring Macroeconomicdevelopments and banking industry in Australia and China, and undertaking research projects at country or region wide level
Liaisingwith economic researchers in industry, academia and government agencies
Producinganalytical reports and helping provide insights about the macroeconomic outlook of Australia and China
Monitoringanalyzing and writing reports on banking and finance industry
Monitoringand analyzing key financial market developments, including foreign exchange rates, interest rates, bond yields, money market indicators, and assessing key market drivers
Producing regularand ad hoc commentary and analytical reports on foreign exchange and interest rate market outlooks, scenarios and key risks,



and providing market insights to support management decision-making and financial management activities

To be considered, possessing following skills and experience are essential:
Bachelor's degree inEconomics, Finance or related
Certified Practicing Accounts (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in Australia is preferred
Minimum3 years Economics Research, risk analysis related experience
Strongeconomic, policy, risk analysis and problem-solving skills
Highlydeveloped influencing and negotiation skills
Provenability to build solid stakeholder relationships with people at all levels and from different backgrounds
Abilityto work flexibly across different teams and projects to deliver outputs, and to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
Goodunderstanding of financial markets, including foreign exchange, money market and interest rate markets
Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Mandarin
