Boilermaker / Welder – Permanent Full-Time

TRS Resourcing is seeking a Trade-Qualified Boilermaker / Welder for a permanent full-time position with an established business in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

This opportunity suits someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication, takes pride in their workmanship and is looking for consistent hours within an experienced workshop team.
The Role

You will undertake a variety of welding, fabrication and assembly tasks, working from engineering drawings and job specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:
MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
Cutting, shaping and fitting components
Completing fabrication and assembly work
Operating workshop machinery and power tools
Checking finished work for quality and accuracy
Maintaining a safe and organised work area

About You

We welcome applications from qualified tradespeople with experience across a range of fabrication and workshop environments.
Ideally, you will have:
A trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication or a related discipline
Sound MIG welding and mild steel fabrication skills




The ability to work from engineering drawings
Valuable mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and within a team
A reliable approach and robust commitment to safety
Australian working rights

Additional welding skills and relevant workshop licences or tickets will be regarded favourably.
