Heavy Combination (HC) Plant Operations Crew Members

Heavy Combination (HC) Plant Operations Crew Members
1 x Boorowa, 1 x Harden and 1 x Young
(Permanent, full time - 76 hours per nine-day fortnight)
Excellent role for a highly skilled HC plant operator working from our Young, Boorowa or Harden depots.
Remuneration circa $68k - $76k p.a. + 12% Superannuation + Adverse Working Conditions Allowance.
Outstanding employee benefits including regular wellbeing initiatives, Fitness Passport, annual flu vaccinations, salary packaging and generous leave provisions under the Local Government State Award.

HC Plant Operations Crew Members contribute to the operational needs of Council by undertaking construction and maintenance of Council roads and infrastructure across all of Hilltops.

In this role you will be predominately driving heavy articulated trucks (HC - either floats or trucks & dogs) and operating other heavy plant and machinery, generally from our Young depot.

This role is ideal for knowledgeable, competent HC drivers with experience in generalist heavy plant operation (e.g. backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders), and those with more specialised plant experience such as grader operations.

As this role may also provide support by undertaking skilled labouring duties and working overtime/after-hours work, you will have positive physical fitness and be willing to participate in an on-call roster (allowance provided per Award).
