This is a outstanding opportunity for a planner looking to gain further Local Government experience within a supportive rural council setting, managing a wide-ranging statutory planning caseload.

The Role As Planning Officer, you will be responsible for:
Assessing and processing a range of planning permit applications.
Providing planning advice to applicants, residents and internal stakeholders.
Interpreting and applying the Victorian Planning Provisions and relevant Planning Scheme.
Preparing reports, correspondence and recommendations.
Undertaking site inspections and supporting broader statutory planning functions.




Liaising with referral authorities and key stakeholders throughout the application process.
