About the Role

Are you a Sydney-based Building Surveyor or Building Regulations Consultant ready for a career and lifestyle change?
This opportunity allows you to relocate to Tasmania, join an established national consultancy and continue working on challenging commercial projects within a flexible hybrid workplace.

Duties
Assess commercial building applications and construction documentation
Provide advice on NCC and building-regulation requirements
Review designs and develop practical compliance solutions
Work across hospitals, stadiums, industrial facilities and other significant developments
Coordinate with architects, engineers, developers and authorities




Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation
Complete building inspections where required
Assist clients throughout the design, approval and construction process

About You
Building surveying qualification
Registered Building Surveyor or progressing towards registration
Experience across medium-to-large commercial projects
Strong understanding of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards
Ability to interpret architectural and construction documentation
Professional communication and client-facing skills
Willing to relocate from Sydney to Tasmania
