An immediate opportunity has become available for an experienced Boilermaker to join a major power station shutdown based in Lithgow, NSW. This is a well-paid, fast-paced role suited to tradespeople with a robust shutdown/outage background looking for consistent hours through to the end of the year.

Ongoing shutdown work in a high-output industrial workplace

Responsibilities:
Fabrication, installation, and repair of boiler components, pressure parts, and associated plant equipment
Cutting, welding, and fitting steel plate,



pipework, and structural components to engineering specifications
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and repairs on boiler and associated equipment
Working safely within a high-pressure shutdown environment, meeting strict deadlines
Liaising with supervisors, leading hands, and other trades to ensure work is completed to schedule
Maintaining accurate documentation, including JSAs, permits, and quality records
Adhering to all site safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements:
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication)
Previous experience on power station or industrial shutdowns highly regarded
Current construction induction (White Card)
Must be able to make your own way to Lithgow (own vehicle required)
Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
