FLAT TOP DELIVERY DRIVER

Canberra Sand & Gravel operates landscape centres at Hume, Mitchell and Parkwood, as well as a production facility in Fyshwick.

We are seeking a competent and reliable driver to join our successful team.

About the Role

The position involves driving a rigid truck to deliver our products within the ACT and surrounding region, as well as other duties as required.

This role is primarily focused on:
Operating our flat top truck to deliver bulka bags of material to building sites
Driving rigid tippers as required
Secure loading, unloading, and delivery of materials
Skilled interaction with customers and site personnel

About You
Current HR licence (essential) - Truck has a crash box transmission, so need to have no restrictions (Auto/Syncro will need to be upgraded)




High Risk Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
Forklift experience preferred; training can be provided
Willingness to learn and upgrade skills (including Road Ranger gearbox training)
Physically fit, reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic
Good customer service and communication skills

Note: Our vehicles are manual (non-synchro/auto). Training could be provided to the right applicant to upgrade to Road Ranger gearboxes.
