BHP is seeking an experienced Specialist Mining Engineer to join the Short Term Planning team at Mt Arthur Coal in the Hunter Valley. This residential, full time role focuses on delivering protected, efficient mine designs and schedules for a large-scale open-cut operation.

You will develop designs, optimise short-term schedules, manage planning projects, and work with multidisciplinary teams to translate strategy into practical outcomes, with a solid emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.
