Key responsibilities
Lead and support a small dedicated team
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop
Deliver exceptional customer service, continuing the robust relationships with our local customers and visitors
Maintain high standards of presentation, product quality, cleanliness and food safety
Manage stock
Manage staff rosters and day-to-day team coordination
Work closely with us to maintain the values and reputation of our family business

About you
An experienced retail, hospitality, food, or butcher shop manager
A confident and positive leader
Customer-focused and genuinely enjoy interacting with people
Organised, reliable and able to work independently




Comfortable working in a rapid-paced environmentCommercially minded, with an understanding of stock, sales and margins
Committed to high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
Friendly and approachable, with the ability to build relationships with both locals and visitors
Practical and hands-on
Butchery or meat industry experience is preferred, but not essential
