About the role:
An exciting chance has become available for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join a well-established business based in Potts Point. This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start available for the successful candidate.

Working within a close-knit finance team and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance operations of the business. This position offers a genuine temp-to-permanent pathway for someone looking to secure a long-term chance within a supportive and cooperative environment.

Key Responsibilities
Processing daily bank statements and banking transactions
Managing cash sales tills and reconciliations
Processing AMEX statements relating to registrations
Reconciling registration accounts
Processing CTP transactions
Completing balance sheet reconciliations




Reconciling finance income and associated transactions
Assisting with month-end reporting and ad hoc finance duties
Supporting the broader finance function as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer or Finance Officer position
Strong reconciliation experience across high-volume transactions
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate Excel skills
The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Robust communication skills and a team-focused attitude
Availability to commence work immediately or at short notice
