CPC Engineering is a multi-disciplinary Engineering Company with over 50 years of experience in the Mining sector and is 100% West Australian owned.

/n

Our Goldfields division urgently requires the services of an experienced local Estimator with a robust SMP background.

The Role /n

/n
Oversee the preparation of estimates and submission of tenders, ensuring submission of documents meet set deadlines.

/n
Ensure costs for estimates include a high level of detail including direct costs associated with labour, material, subcontractor costs, in addition to preliminaries, including Management, plant & equipment, and any indirect resources required.

/n
Prepare and review material take-offs from Project Drawings as required to support compiling detailed estimates.

/n
Compile Technical Clarifications and Basis of Estimate documents to support Proposals.

/n
Compile, review and oversee the Tender Schedule and methodology compilation for SMP portion of works.

/n




Attend ad-hoc site visits and client meetings as required.

/n
Research and review construction and design documents and analyse specifications to determine estimated costs.

/n

What you will bring to the role: /n

/n
5+ years experience as an Estimator, ideally within the mining and construction industry

/n
Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Trade or similar

/n
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly in Excel, MS Project highly desirable.

/n
Detailed knowledge and experience of applying industry norms or First Principal estimating for Structural, Mechanical and Piping
