Mercure Sydney Blacktown is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part Time Commis Chef to join our team of inspired hospitality specialists. You will be working mainly the breakfast shift, preparing & serving food for the hotel buffet breakfast and food prep for our all-day dining menu and Distrikt Cafe.

What You Will Be Doing /n

Full ownership and operation of the kitchen including breakfast service whilst on shift.

/n
Ensure the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality are maintained.

Preparing, cooking and serving breakfast for the hotel buffet

/n
Preparing food for Distrikt Cafe and our all-day dining menu

/n
Assisting with group dinners as required

/n
Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of ingredients.

/n
Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and all dishes are washed at the end of each shift

/n
Assisting the General Manager with food orders and stock management

/n
Overseeing kitchen attendant as required
