Staff Specialist – Drug & Alcohol Medicine | Central Coast, NSWGosford & Wyong | Major Growth Region | Excellent Professional & Lifestyle Opportunity An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Specialist in Drug and Alcohol Medicine to join the Department of Drug and Alcohol Services across Gosford and Wyong on the Central Coast of New South Wales.
This is an opportunity to join a growing health service within a region experiencing significant population growth, with strong professional links to Royal North Shore Hospital and the University of Newcastle.
The Opportunity Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners who are eligible for registration in New South Wales.
The successful applicant will join the Department of Drug and Alcohol, providing specialist medical expertise within a multidisciplinary health service across the Central Coast.
Essential Qualifications Applicants should hold:

- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP); and/or
- Other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for under the Staff Specialist (State) Award

Applicants expecting to obtain Fellowship within six months may also be considered.
Successful applicants who are awaiting completion of their relevant qualification will not be eligible to commence the appointment until all required qualifications and registration requirements have been formally completed.
Salary & Conditions

- Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Staff Specialist (State) Award
