East Coast Sales Manager – Mining & Wear Solutions

About the opportunity

ACE Group is looking for an experienced East Coast Sales Manager to join our growing sales team, supporting Wear Lining Solutions (WLS) and ACE Group across the East Coast.

This is a senior, hands-on sales role for someone who knows the mining industry, has strong existing customer relationships and enjoys developing new business while building long-term partnerships with customers.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for developing our East Coast customer network, particularly across Tier 1 mining operations, while driving sustainable revenue and margin growth across our wear solutions, products and services.

What you’ll be doing

You will take ownership of business development and key customer relationships across the East Coast, using your industry network and technical knowledge to identify opportunities and deliver practical, value-driven solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and executing regional sales strategies to grow revenue, margin and market share
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with Tier 1 miners and key industry stakeholders
- Managing strategic customer accounts and developing new business opportunities
- Conducting regular customer and mine-site visits
- Identifying opportunities to introduce recent products and diversify our offering within existing accounts
- Working with internal engineering, operations and product teams to develop technically appropriate wear solutions
- Preparing and presenting technical proposals, tenders and customer presentations
- Managing sales forecasts, budgets, pipeline activity and CRM reporting
- Negotiating pricing and commercial terms in line with business objectives
- Monitoring market trends,



competitor activity and emerging technologies
- Representing the business at customer meetings, site visits and industry events
- Helping develop the East Coast technical sales team as the business continues to grow.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is technically credible, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys building relationships and finding solutions for customers.

Ideally, you will bring:

- Proven technical sales experience within mining, industrial, engineering or manufacturing
- A strong existing network and reputation within the mining sector
- Experience developing relationships with major mining customers and key decision-makers
- Strong business development and key account management capability
- The ability to understand technical challenges and turn them into practical customer solutions
- Strong commercial awareness across pricing, margins, forecasting and sales performance
- Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
- Experience working with CRM systems and managing a structured sales pipeline
- The capability to develop and lead a technical sales team as the East Coast business grows
- A proactive, resilient and customer-focused approach.

Experience selling wear liners, wear materials or technical services will be highly regarded.
