The Role:

Join our Data Analytics and Processing team as a Data Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract (with potential for extension). Reporting to the Business Analytics Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Underwriting and Distribution teams by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and insightful analysis.

What You’ll do:

- Data Management

- Perform accurate and timely data entry for underwriting, including managing agency businesses (MGA) across Australia and Current Zealand.

- Maintain and validate underwriting data and distribution partner portfolios (MGAs).

- Ensure data integrity across systems and databases.

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare and deliver reports for internal stakeholders and distribution partners.

- Provide in-depth analysis and interpretation of data and risk measures.

Process Improvement

- Drive technology adoption to streamline processes and reporting.

- Identify opportunities for efficiency and accuracy improvements.





What We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, or Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in data cleansing, validation and analysis —insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
- In-depth working experience in MS Excel, SQL, Power BI, including building dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with data modelling and building data pipelines is highly desirable.
- Practical application skills using Copilot to streamline data modelling, improve pipeline reliability, and accelerate insight generation.
- Strong attention to detail with accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Must hold a valid work visa or permanent residency to work in Australia.
