About Me

I am a woman in my 30s living independently in the community of Torrens Park. I enjoy getting out and catching up with friends and family. I am a seasoned traveller, and I love to sing and bowl. I enjoy learning Braille, and my goal is to one day, teach others how to use it. I live with my partner and cat.

The Role

I direct my own support and I’m looking for a new support worker to join my long-term and dedicated support team. My support workers assist me in all aspects of my daily life – and support me to live out my vision for a good life. This role will be ideal for someone who is a good listener and a solid communicator.

My team supports me over 7 days per week; I am looking for someone to support me for regular shifts a week with some back filling when other workers are on leave:

- Wednesday 7:00am – 9:00am
- Friday 2:00pm – 5:00pm

The role is paid at level 2.1. Casual base rate (currently $45.28 per hour)

All applicants must have or willingness to obtain:

• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• A current NDIS worker check

• First Aid Certificate
