Who We Are
Worldview Foundation was founded in 2018 with a mission to overcome intergenerational disadvantage for First Nations people through holistic life and employment pathway programs. We believe that understanding, respecting and integrating multiple worldviews leads to better decisions and stronger social outcomes. We draw particularly on the knowledge of Elders, First Nations community leaders and subject-matter experts, and respect all worldviews in helping people reach their full potential.
Role Purpose
The Cultural Employment Pathways Mentor combines culturally safe personal mentoring with practical workplace leadership. The role supports at-risk Indigenous young men to address barriers, strengthen cultural identity, become work-ready and progress into sustainable employment, training or further education.
Working alongside participants each day, the Mentor provides clear work direction, coaching and supervision across practical activities while maintaining a safe, respectful, productive and trauma-informed environment. The role is a trusted link between participants, the Worldview Foundation Program Manager ACT, Warehouse Supervisors and staff, training providers, job service providers, employers and community services.
