Who we are looking for
We have a full-time ongoing position available for an Operational Technology (OT) Technical Coordinator to support the reliable, secure and effective operation of Wannon Water's Operational Technology workplace, with a strong focus on SCADA systems and associated infrastructure.
Working across operations, maintenance and technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders, you'll coordinate system support, upgrades, maintenance, governance and improvement initiatives, while contributing to the ongoing evolution of our OT environment. You'll bring strong technical capability and a practical, collaborative approach to help ensure our systems remain resilient, compliant and fit for the future.
This position is located in our Warrnambool Office with a generous salary of $105,522 to $117,711 p.a. plus superannuation.
Description
What you'll be doing
On a day-to-day basis, you'll:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operation, support and maintenance of OT SCADA systems and infrastructure, including system performance, faults, assets, licensing and vendor support.
- Lead OT maintenance, outages, upgrades and system changes, ensuring activities are planned, risk assessed, documented and effectively integrated across OT systems and operational infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain OT technical documentation, standards and records, supporting cybersecurity, digital change management processes, governance, compliance, auditing and risk management requirements.
- Support OT projects, infrastructure upgrades and technical changes, including planning, procurement, testing, commissioning, risk management and system handover.
Skills And Experiences
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with
- Qualifications and or experience in Automation/Industrial Control and management,
project management or related fields.
- Experience in OT, SCADA, industrial automation, utilities, or infrastructure environments.
- Water industry exposure to industrial control systems and in the effective coordination of OT operational activities including PLC, RTU and telemetry SCADA platforms.
- Programming skills in both Allen Bradley and Schneider products.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
