At CSBS, we’re building a team of passionate and reliable Support Workers to provide quality support to people living with disability across the Caloundra region, including Baringa, Little Mountain, Caloundra, Currimundi, Aroona, and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for people who are committed to delivering person-centred support and empowering people to live with choice, independence, and dignity. Whether supporting someone in their home, within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, or out in the community, you’ll play an significant role in helping people achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

About the Role

Location: Caloundra & Surrounding Areas Employment Type: Casual

As part of our casual support worker pool, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of services and support environments, including individual supports, community access, and Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

Duties May Include

- Personal care and daily living support
- Supporting people in their home and community
- Community participation and social engagement
- Transport to appointments and activities
- Meal planning and preparation
- Domestic assistance and household tasks
- Medication assistance (where trained)
- Following individual support plans and documentation requirements
- Mobility assistance and manual handling
- Supporting people to achieve their goals and maintain independence

What We’re Looking For





To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience supporting people living with disability, aged care, mental health, or community services
- A person-centred approach to support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and flexibility across a variety of shifts
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence supporting people with varying support needs

Highly Regarded
- Experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL)
- Experience providing personal care
- Medication administration experience
- Manual handling experience
- Mental health support experience
- Experience supporting people with complex physical support needs

What You’ll Need
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Smartphone with access to mobile apps and documentation systems
- Availability for a mix of day, afternoon, sleepover, active overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts
