We’re looking for an Administrator to keep our Melbourne office running smoothly and make it a place where people feel welcome, supported and connected. As the first point of contact, you’ll set the tone for the office, while also improving how it operates. Your day-to-day involves leading administration support, sharing basic IT knowledge, lending a hand on project administration, and involvement in other business solutions activities and projects.

You’ll work alongside a diverse team of environmental specialists, and you’ll get to see first-hand the work we do to improve environmental sustainability.

This part time role offers genuine flexibility in your working week, whether you’re studying, caring for family or looking after your health and wellbeing. We understand work is only one part of life. We are initially seeking approximately 20 hours per week, but we’re open to hearing from great candidates who are interested in the role and may want a different arrangement.





Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM:

- Be the heart of the office: you’ll be the first friendly face for our people, clients and visitors, setting the tone for how the office feels every day
- Smooth operations: you’ll oversee day-to-day office administration, taking care of general office and facilities management, including the coordination of cleaning and maintenance, office stationery and kitchen supplies, and incoming and outgoing mail and courier coordinating
- Support our project team: from formatting reports to booking travel and making sure fieldwork gear is ready, you’ll help great environmental work happen
- Make new starters feel at home: you’ll prepare their space, welcome them in and set them up for a strong first week and ongoing journey
- Bring people together: you’ll plan and manage events and wellbeing activities that build a culture people enjoy being part of
- Shape how we work: you’ll spot and try out better ways of doing things, including exploring how AI can make work easier, and see your ideas put into action
- Be part of a national team: you’ll work with colleagues across our offices and contribute to being part of a vibrant, solutions focused team

Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact:

- Experience in administration or operations,



with strong organisation and coordination skills
- A genuine enjoyment of connecting with people and bringing teams together
- Confidence building relationships across a variety of stakeholders
- A keen eye for detail and a practical, proactive approach to solving problems
- Pride in delivering consistent, high-quality service
- Composure and openness when things change
- Tech savvy, with experience across the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable to learn and apply new tools like AI for continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to work on-site in CBD office location – close to public transport with great cafes and office snacks!
