We need an energetic and organised Workforce Project Officer to help us build the workforce that will enable the transition to renewable energy for NSW

- Internal expression of interest
- Temporary role to June 2027 - full-time at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime
- Located in Sydney CBD with hybrid working supported
- Salary ranges from $116,981 to $129,492 + super

We're seeking a Workforce Project Officer to join EnergyCo's Recruitment Project Team for a temporary period of up to nine months. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of the most significant recruitment and workforce growth programs in EnergyCo's short history.

As EnergyCo continues to grow, you'll help support the recruitment and onboarding of hundreds of current employees across multiple business areas. Working closely with hiring managers, recruitment partners and project stakeholders, you'll contribute to a high-profile initiative that will help shape EnergyCo's future workforce. You will act as a central resource: from raising requisitions for new roles to co-ordinating with the project team and hiring managers to smoothly move candidates through the recruitment experience, as well as helping to identify efficiencies in recruitment and onboarding.

About You

You are a proactive and adaptable professional who enjoys working at pace, solving problems and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You will bring:

- Experience in project coordination, recruitment coordination, workforce planning, HR operations or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience preparing reports, analysing information, managing and maintaining accurate data.




- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Confidence using technology and data to monitor progress and support decision-making.
- A collaborative, customer-focused approach and willingness to pitch in where needed.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Essential Requirements

- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

Who we are

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority network infrastructure projects (PNIPs),



which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
