Own corporate tax, GST, transfer pricing, tax accounting, compliance, ATO engagement and strategic tax projects. Working closely with local and global finance leaders, you'll drive tax governance, support major systems and process transformation initiatives, and help bring key tax functions in-house.

Description

- Act as the lead tax advisor for the Australian business, providing guidance across a broad range of direct and indirect tax matters.
- Oversee tax compliance obligations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while maintaining alignment with evolving legislation.
- Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to assess current commercial activities, transactions and business initiatives from a tax perspective.
- Manage relationships with external advisors and regulatory authorities, including responses to reviews, audits and information requests.
- Support tax accounting requirements, including provision calculations, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting obligations.
- Contribute to transfer pricing, international tax and global tax governance initiatives, including emerging regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to strengthen tax controls, operational efficiency and compliance frameworks.




- Play a key role in finance transformation projects, helping embed appropriate tax outcomes within systems, billing processes and enterprise-wide workflows.

Profile

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Tax or similar
- CA/CPA qualification
- Big 4/Mid Tier experience within tax preferred
- Able to translate complex technical matters into practical commercial advice.
- Strong understanding of tax risk, governance and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes independently.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within a multinational, technology or high-growth business environment will be highly regarded.

Job Offer

- $160,000 - $180,000 + Super
