Our client is a national law firm whose construction team advises principals, contractors, subcontractors and major consultants on significant construction and development projects. It is looking for a Senior Construction Lawyer with 7 or more years' PAE to lead major projects work in Sydney, alongside a highly experienced construction partner.

About the role

You will lead the front end of major construction and development projects, guiding the lawyers around you. You will:

- Lead the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts and consultant agreements
- Develop procurement strategies and delivery models for major projects
- Oversee tender documents and contract suites
- Give strategic advice to clients across the life of a project
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers

What you'll bring

- 7 or more years' PAE




- Admission to practise in Australia and a current practising certificate
- Substantial construction experience on major projects
- Strong drafting skills, commercial judgement and a collaborative approach
