About the role

La Lupa is seeking skilled Pizza & Pasta Chefs to join us on a full-time or part-time basis. The role involves preparing and cooking authentic Italian pizzas on our Moretti Forni electric deck oven, making pasta and sauces from scratch following traditional Italian recipes, and running the pizza and pasta stations during busy service.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking authentic Italian pizzas on our Moretti Forni electric deck oven, with consistent quality, timing and presentation

- Making fresh pasta and sauces from scratch, following traditional Italian recipes

- Running the pizza and pasta stations during busy service and meeting ticket times

- Preparing dough, sauces and toppings, and managing dough proofing schedules

- Monitoring stock levels and communicating ingredient needs to management

- Keeping a clean, organised station in line with food safety and hygiene standards

- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team for smooth service

- Contributing ideas for seasonal specials and menu improvements

About you





- Proven experience as a pizza and/or pasta chef, ideally in an Italian restaurant

- Strong knowledge of traditional dough-making

- Confident with deck ovens and high-volume service

- A genuine passion for Italian food and commitment to consistency

- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Current food safety certification (or willingness to obtain one)

- Reliable, punctual and available for evenings and weekends
