About the role

You'll support participants in SIL homes as well as providing Community Access and other supports where required. Our SIL homes are busy environments, and we're looking for competent and confident candidates who can stay calm, think on their feet, communicate effectively, work as part of a team, and work independently to ensure participants are supported in a safe, stable environment.

Key responsibilities

- Daily routines, household tasks and personal care

- Community access, appointments and activities

- Supporting participant goals and independence

- Emotional and behavioural support

- Following support plans, procedures and documentation requirements

- Contributing to the smooth running of the home

- Work a minimum of one sleepover shift per week

- Work alternate weekends

- Work across a rotating 24/7 roster

- Work across SIL and Community Access supports

About you

- Minimum 2 years experience in SIL or relevant disability support

- Experience supporting people with complex needs, psychosocial disability, mental health, trauma and/or complex behaviours





- A genuine commitment to person-centred support

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- A calm, resilient and practical approach

- Good judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills

- Professional boundaries and respect for participant dignity

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Working With Children Check, where applicable

- Current First Aid & CPR
