Working closely with our solicitors and paralegals, you will gain practical experience across veteran compensation, entitlements, reviews and appeals while developing your legal research, drafting and client communication skills.

KSC Law is a veteran-founded law firm dedicated to standing beside Australian Defence Force veterans and their families.

We help clients navigate complex compensation and entitlement systems, including matters involving the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation just to name a few.

The Role

Your responsibilities may include:

- Conducting legal research and preparing summaries

- Drafting correspondence and legal documents

- Reviewing medical, service and evidentiary records

- Assisting with claims, reviews and appeals

- Preparing briefs, chronologies and matter summaries

- Communicating with clients and external stakeholders

- Maintaining accurate electronic files

- Supporting the effective progression of matters

You will receive training and guidance, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your skills develop.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Is completing a Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor

- Can work three to five days per week

- Has solid research,



writing and communication skills

- Is organised, proactive and attentive to detail

- Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion

- Can manage competing priorities

- Is comfortable working with sensitive information

- Genuinely wants to use their legal career to help people

Experience in administrative law, compensation, insurance, personal injury or government decision-making is highly regarded but not essential.
