Baba Shrichand 3 Pty Ltd is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef for Indian Curry Hutt Restaurant, a busy restaurant, located in Logan, Qld. We are dedicated to finding the best talent for our restaurant and providing excellent career opportunities for our candidates.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong background in the culinary arts. They will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality dishes, overseeing the kitchen operations, and managing a team of kitchen staff. The successful candidate will also have a robust understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines, as well as the ability to create and maintain a positive and effective work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Create and prepare high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards
n
Oversee and manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
n
Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
n
Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
n
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area
n
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
n




Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner
n
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
n
Maintain a positive and qualified attitude at all times
n
Continuously strive to improve and innovate in the kitchen
n
Qualifications:
n
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant
n
Certificate IV in
Culinary/commercial
cookery or above
n
Solid knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills
n
Creative and innovative mindset
n
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
n
