At Mind Connections, we believe good mental health care should be thorough, respectful and personal, and we have put that care first since 2005. If you want your nursing to make a real difference to people's mental health, as part of our interventional treatment team, including TMS, we'd like to hear from you.
We are is a specialist psychiatry and psychology practice with clinics in Carlingford and Norwest (Bella Vista). We are looking for a Registered Nurse to deliver Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine treatment, 2 to 3 days a week, 8:30am to 5:00pm, across both clinics. If you can only work at Norwest, we still encourage you to apply.
You will work directly with the treating psychiatrist, front desk and operations manager. A psychiatrist is always on site during TMS and esketamine sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Delivering TMS treatment, including pre-session safety screening
- Administering and monitoring esketamine treatment sessions, and maintaining the Schedule 8 (S8) drug register
- Recognising and escalating any change in a patient's condition to the treating psychiatrist
- Educating patients and families about their treatment, and liaising with the treating psychiatrist and psychologists on progress
- Keeping accurate treatment records and outcome measures, and coordinating bookings and funding approvals with reception
- Daily device checks,
and supporting the team with administrative tasks when no treatments are scheduled
About you
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- An interest in mental health. Mental health nursing, TMS or esketamine experience is welcome but not essential
- Experience maintaining an S8 drug register preferred
- Confident monitoring patients and acting on changes in their condition
- A warm, clear communicator who is careful with detail
- Someone who notices when something could work better and says so

- We work as a team and share responsibility for how the practice runs. The Operations Manager is available whenever you need support, and full training is provided on our TMS systems and treatment protocols. We don't micro-manage. We hire people we trust and give them room to do the job well.
- The practice is investing in its people, systems and training. As our interventional treatment service develops, there is scope for this role to develop with it.
Weekday daytime hours: no nights, weekends or public holidays
$35 to $45 per hour plus super, negotiable on experience
Peer review meetings with our clinical team
On-site parking (at both clinics)
Hours can grow over time if that suits you
