Footwork is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager with a background in Podiatry and/or
Prosthetics/Orthotics
to join our team. As the Production Manager
(Podiatrist/Orthotist),
you will play a vital role in managing our production floor, ensuring the highest quality of orthotic devices while optimising processes for efficiency and effectiveness. The successful applicant will work closely with 7 podiatrists, gaining a outstanding deal of knowledge on both orthotics and biomechanics, as well as a comprehensive understanding of every step in our manufacturing process.

Responsibilities: n

Co-manage the production floor alongside other management staff.
n
Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve production efficiency and process optimisation.
n
Act as the primary clinical resource for our orthotic technicians, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
n
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
n
Provide training and mentorship to production staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
n
Understand and manage invoicing and dispatch systems and processes.
n
Key Criteria: n
n
Must have completed a
Podiatry/Prosthetics
& Orthotics degree or equivalent.
n
Solid knowledge of podiatric principles and orthotic device fabrication techniques.
n
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
n
Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
