About the Role

We are partnering with an established, high-impact Not-for-Profit Corporation based in the Perth CBD to recruit a dedicated
HR Business Partner
.
n
Working as a core member of a supportive People & Culture team, you will act as a trusted operational partner to department heads, managers, and clinical supervisors across key health and community service portfolios. This is a hands-on generalist position that combines everyday advisory with broader workforce capability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Employee & Industrial Relations:
Manage end-to-end ER/IR matters, including workplace investigations, performance management, grievances, and up-to-date award/EBA interpretation.
n
Leadership Partnering & Coaching:
Work closely with operational leaders to coach them through complex staff matters, team capability, and effective communication.
n
Workforce Planning & Talent Support:
Collaborate with department managers to identify resourcing requirements, address capability gaps, and support talent retention strategies.
n
HR Projects & Policy:
Contribute to P&C; framework improvements, policy reviews, HRIS enhancements,



and organizational development projects.
n
Key Requirements
n
n
Experience:
Demonstrated track record operating in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisory capacity.
n
ER/IR Technical Depth:
Strong, practical understanding of Australian employment law, complex ER case management, and award interpretation.
n
Sector Background:
Prior experience within Not-for-Profit, Healthcare, Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation experience is highly regarded).
n
Communication:
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a culturally informed, cooperative approach to problem-solving.
n
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related discipline.
n
