Manager - Public Practice in Accounting & Tax

You will be required to grow in experience, knowledge and character. We are a growing firm in the accounting industry and looking for a Manager to join our team for a Full-Time role.
About the role
A Manager of our Business Services team with one senior accountant. Reviewing Financial Statements for all entity types, Individual Tax Returns, Business Tax Returnsand BASs for all entity types using Access (Sage) Handisoft. Reviewing compliance work for Self Managed Super Funds using BGL Straightforward Fund 360.
Assisting the Principal with providing reliable tax advice, tax planning to clients and building client relationships. Must have good communication skills and be willing to review and do all jobs needed in a public accounting practice.

This is a Full-Time role of 37.5 hours per week working from our office in Capalaba with some work from home if desired. Therefore, you are currently a Brisbane resident or are becoming a Brisbane resident. There is an opportunity for career development.
Skills and experience
A Minimum of 7 years experience in public practice. You need to pay attention to detail, followprocesses well and show initiative to meet client's needs. You need to be experienced at managing a team in public practice. You need to be competent in reviewing all work prepared by accountants. Experience with Access (Sage) Handisoft is desirable.
