We are a specialist development and planning consultancy located in Central Maitland, just a five-minute walk to Maitland Train Station, with services to Newcastle every 30 minutes.

The Role

The role will include:

- Lead and mentor planning colleagues.
- Prepare a range of planning documents and reports, including Site Assessments, Statements of Environmental Effects, Planning Proposals, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
- Managing and delivering a range of state and regionally significant projects.
- Liaise with other technical professionals (engineers, ecologists, heritage consultants).
- Managing projects to meet deadlines.




- Establishing and maintaining client relationships.
- Being part of the senior management team and contribute to the strategic direction of the business.

To be successful in the role, you will require:

- An advanced working knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act.
- Substantiative experience working within the New South Wales planning system.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects.
- Hold or be working towards Registered Planner status with PIA.
- Strong organisational, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- A passion for delivering outcomes for clients.
- Well-developed leadership skills.
- Business development acumen.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Other desirable skills include:

- Urban design experience.
- Experience/proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working in the private sector/consulting.
