As a Finance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the College. Working as part of a small and dedicated team, you will assist with a broad range of finance administration and accounting functions that help ensure the effective operation of the College.
Key responsibilities n
n
Accounts payable processing, including invoices, purchase orders and supplier payments
n
Insurance administration and support with claims management
n
Reconciliations and maintenance of the asset register
n
Assisting with BAS and FBT preparation and finance compliance activities
n
Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
n
Providing professional customer service and support to staff across the College
n
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance Office
n
About you n
n
Experience in a finance, accounting or bookkeeping role
n




Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
n
Sound Microsoft Excel skills
n
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
n
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
n
The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
n
A proactive and positive approach to working within a team setting
n
Experience in an education setting and familiarity with TASS would be highly regarded but are not essential
