As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

- Build trusted relationships with clinical and operational leaders and develop a strong understanding of the services you support.
- Provide insightful, timely and customer-focused financial advice that supports effective decision‑making.
- Apply critical thinking and curiosity to financial and operational information, looking beyond the numbers to understand underlying drivers, trends, risks and opportunities.
- Translate complex financial information into clear, practical insights and recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with leaders to identify opportunities to improve service performance, productivity, resource utilisation and financial sustainability.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, business cases, financial modelling, performance reporting and development of financial strategies.




- Constructively challenge assumptions and bring an evidence‑based perspective to operational and investment decisions.
- Help build financial capability across the organisation by supporting leaders to better understand the financial implications of their decisions.

What we're looking for - Demonstrated understanding of health service operations and funding would be highly regarded. We also welcome candidates with strong business partnering capability from similarly complex service environments. Candidates who can demonstrate the ability to quickly develop health sector knowledge are encouraged to apply. A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or commerce. CA/CPA qualification or progress towards qualification would be highly regarded.
