About the Client
Our client is a major resources organisation with significant operations across Australia. They are currently seeking experienced professionals to join their team and support ongoing operations and projects within the mining industry.
About the Position
Our client is seeking an experienced Environment Advisor to support environmental approvals, project studies and compliance activities across their mining operation. Working alongside senior environmental and GIS specialists, you will assist with approvals, environmental studies, contractor coordination, regulatory reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support environmental approvals, compliance activities and project studies.
- Assist with the preparation of environmental approval applications and regulatory reports.
- Coordinate specialist environmental contractors and fieldwork activities.
- Support environmental impact assessments and risk management processes.
- Maintain accurate environmental records, data and project documentation.
- Provide support to internal teams on environmental compliance requirements.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement and regulatory activities.
- Ensure projects align with legislative requirements, environmental commitments and company standards.
Experience Required
- Relevant qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Law or a related discipline.
- Experience in environmental approvals, compliance or project studies.
- Experience within mining, heavy industry or construction environments is highly desirable.
Robust written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate contractors and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Experience working in northern or regional Australia is desirable.
