St Helena's Catholic Primary School is a co-educational primary school catering for over 490 students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. Selection Criteria n

Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
n
Possess a sound knowledge of the Religious Education Units of Work and the Western Australian Curriculum.
n
Knowledge of the Western Australia Curriculum and the SCSA Judging Standards with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning.
n
A repertoire of effective teaching strategies that positively impact student engagement and learning outcomes.
n




Demonstrate the ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust the teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
n
Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
n
Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and to enhance one's own teaching instruction and the learning culture of the school.
n
Demonstrate the skills to contribute to and promote a solid staff culture and work collaboratively with students, staff, parents and Parish in promoting a nurturing Catholic school community.

Qualifications Required n

Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
n
Relevant 4 Year Tertiary Qualifications.
n
Early Childhood Qualifications if applicable.
