Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Agitator Driver to transport concrete to various construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Job Responsibilities n
n
Operate concrete agitator trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
n
Load and unload concrete at batching plants and construction sites, following established procedures.
n
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
n
Maintain accurate delivery records, including docket information, quantities, and delivery times.
n
Communicate effectively with dispatch, batch plant operators, and site personnel.
n
Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the agitator truck.
n
Adhere to all OHS policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.




n
Assist with minor in office troubleshooting as required.
n
Job Qualifications n
n
Valid Australian Heavy Rigid (HR) or Higher Combination (HC) driver's license with a clean driving record.
n
Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably concrete agitators.
n
A robust commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of OHS regulations.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
n
Knowledge of local road networks and construction sites is highly regarded.
n
Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle checks and maintenance.
n
