Position: Retail Manager / Shop Manager Business Name: MARWAA PTY LTD trading as Sydney Sizzlers Address: 689 Forest Rd, Bexley, NSW 2207 Salary: $80,000 ($79,500 - $85,000) Superannuation: 12.00% Hours per week: 38 hours Category: Full Time / Permanent Days/Timings: To be discussed including weekends - Saturday and Sunday

DUTIES, TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the retail store to ensure efficient and smooth business performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain effective stock control systems to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Establish, implement, and maintain high customer service standards to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare staff rosters and oversee employee scheduling to ensure adequate staffing during operating hours.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain productivity and high workplace performance standards.
- Implement promotional and marketing activities to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Maintain accurate financial records, sales reports, and inventory documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, policies, and operational procedures.
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and offer recommendations based on customer needs.
- Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring store expenditure to support financial targets and profitability.




- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices.
- Monitor product performance and sales trends to optimise stock selection and inventory turnover.
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues professionally to maintain positive customer relationships.
- Implement and promote environmentally sustainable practices within daily store operations.
- Analyse sales performance and prepare operational reports for management review and decision-making.
- Drive sales growth initiatives and customer loyalty programs to strengthen repeat business and overall store performance.
- Store Manager has to manage Lease – Terms and Conditions
- Store Manager is responsible for Store’s Accounting & Record Keeping including budgeting, Sales Data, Business Records, Accounting etc.,
- Store Manager is responsible for Record Keeping of Sales, Wages, Profits, Loss, Balance Sheets & Related Financial Information

Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, study and experience: Education: Degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma Australian Experience: At least 3 + years of Australian Experience OR Overseas Experience: At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
