Head Chefs wanted - New Pub opening soon!

As Head Chef, you'll play a key role in establishing and shaping a new restaurant and pub venue. Working closely with the owners, you'll have genuine creative input and control over the menu, while ensuring the food reflects the overall vision and direction of the business. You'll have the opportunity to build the kitchen from the ground up, develop the menu and put your own creative stamp on the food served.

Key responsibilities

- Leading and developing the kitchen team
- Creating and developing an exciting, high-quality menu
- Bringing your own ideas and creativity to the kitchen
- Working closely with the owners to establish the venue's food offering
- Managing kitchen operations and maintaining high standards
- Ordering, stock control and food cost management
- Rostering, training and supporting kitchen staff
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and presentation standards
- Ensuring consistency and quality across every service
- Helping establish a positive,



qualified and enjoyable kitchen culture

About you

- Previous experience as a Head Chef or senior chef
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- A passion for quality food and creative menu development
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing and stock control
- The ability to work calmly and effectively in a busy environment
- High standards of food quality, cleanliness and presentation
- A positive attitude and hands-on approach
- The ability to work collaboratively with owners and management
- Brand-new venue – help build it from the ground up
