At Battery World Castle Hill, we don't just sell car batteries. We help customers with automotive, marine, motorcycle, caravan, camping, mobility, golf cart, household and specialty battery solutions. We also provide roadside assistance, battery testing, jump starts and on site battery replacement services.

About the Role

This is a leadership role based on the shop floor, not behind a desk. You'll look after the day to day running of the store, support and develop the team, and make sure our systems and processes run smoothly so customers get a great experience every time they visit.

You'll work a rotating roster (including weekends) and work directly with the owner, with real input into how the store runs and grows.

What You'll Be Doing

- Keeping the store running smoothly by making sure our procedures and policies are followed and completed
- Leading by example and setting the tone for great service and teamwork
- Training,



coaching and supporting the team so they feel confident and capable
- Managing rosters and helping the team hit their goals
- Delivering exceptional customer service in store, over the phone and on the road
- Finding new ways to grow the business, including trade, fleet and commercial customers
- Looking after stock, ordering and store presentation
- Jumping in on testing, fitting and roadside jobs when the team needs a hand
- Working with the owner on goals, results and ideas to improve the store

What We're Looking For

- At least 2 years experience in a retail management or supervisor role (automotive highly regarded)
- Someone organised who enjoys having good systems in place and seeing them work
- A leader who is happy to roll up their sleeves alongside the team
- Genuine passion for customer service and a knack for sales
- Great communication and problem solving skillsPhysically capable of hands on work
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (required)
- Battery, automotive, 4WD, marine or electrical knowledge is a bonus, and full training is provided
