Janus International Australia – we are part of the Janus Group, the world-leading supplier of premium self storage products and specialists in the consultation, design, manufacture and installation of self storage units across Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our manufacturing team. You will be a practical leader who enjoys working on the floor, supporting their team, and driving operational excellence. This hands‑on leadership role is ideal for a highly skilled roll former operator who can lead by example, drive productivity, and foster a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the day‑to‑day activities of the roll forming team.

Set up, operate, and optimize roll forming machines to achieve production targets.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment, product quality, and process issues.

Coordinate production schedules to ensure customer and operational requirements are met.

Train, mentor, and develop team members to build capability and improve performance.

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.





Monitor quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain effective communication across production, maintenance, and management teams.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience operating and setting up roll forming equipment.

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills relating to roll forming processes and machinery.

Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team leader position within a manufacturing setting.

Well‑developed team‑building and people‑management skills.

Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.

Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and best practices.

Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organisational skills.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
