Job Description
About Cultivate Cultivate is a four level wellness centre in Newcastle, bringing gym, recovery, clinic and Pilates services together under one roof. The Role
We are seeking a Full Time Physiotherapist to join our allied health team. You'll assess, treat and rehabilitate a diverse client base, including post surgical and injury clients, and help lead our current physiotherapist-led small group programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients' physical condition, diagnose musculoskeletal and movement conditions, and develop individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Deliver treatment using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation programs and other evidence-based techniques
- Manage referrals from GPs and surgeons, including post operative rehabilitation
- Lead physiotherapist led small group supervised strength training for older adults, women, and clients recovering from surgery or injury
- Monitor and record client progress,
maintaining accurate clinical notes
- Educate clients on injury prevention, self-management and long-term health
- Refer to and liaise with GPs, surgeons and other health professionals
- Work collaboratively with Cultivate's massage, recovery, gym and Pilates teams
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
- Current general registration with AHPRA (Physiotherapy Board of Australia)
- Clinical experience in musculoskeletal and post operative rehabilitation
- Strong communication skills and a client-centred approach
- Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
We Offer Salary of $80000 to $ depending on experience
