We're looking for an Accountant who combines strong attention to detail with a customer-focused approach and a genuine desire to make a difference.
This is a maximum 6-month contract opportunity , supporting a range of accounting functions across Scalabrini Communities.

What you'll do
You'll support a range of accounting functions while working closely with our Finance team and internal stakeholders. Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting Accounts Receivable, cash management and resident account reconciliations.
- Processing and reconciling government funding claims.
- Supporting fixed assets and payroll reporting.
- Preparing month-end journals and completing General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with variance analysis and monthly reporting.
- Supporting audit preparation and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Working with internal teams to resolve financial and resident account queries.
- Following financial policies, procedures, internal controls and governance requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
- Previous experience in an accounting role, with experience across reconciliations and month-end processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- A collaborative, flexible and can-do attitude.
- Experience in aged care, health or not-for-profit is highly regarded.
- Experience with Epicor Cloud, iCare or Services Australia is desirable.
