We're looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Thrift Store Retail Manager to lead our Long Gully store. This isn't your average retail management role. What You'll Be Doing

As our Thrift Store Manager, you'll bring energy, passion and commercial acumen to lead a predominantly volunteer workforce while creating a welcoming and exciting shopping destination.

Designing eye-catching displays and merchandising unique stock

Developing fresh ideas to make op-shopping exciting and engaging

Leading, recruiting and supporting volunteers and staff

Managing sales, cash handling, banking and store performance





Achieving budgets and business objectives

Pricing and presenting donated goods to maximise sales

Creating an inclusive environment for customers, volunteers and the community

Raising the profile of Lifeline Loddon Mallee within Bendigo

Maintaining a high standard of store presentation and cleanliness

The Person We're Looking For

You don't need thrift store experience, but you do need a passion for retail and people.

You'll be someone who:

Has proven retail management experience ideally in thrift stores

Loves motivating and developing teams

Is organised, adaptable and solutions-focused

Can work independently and take ownership

Understands the value volunteers bring to an organisation

Has experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office

Appreciates the connection between community, sustainability and social impact
