Victoria Legal Aid invites early-career lawyers to join the 2027 Recent Lawyers Program. Over two years you will rotate through three eight-month placements in criminal, family, civil justice, and access to justice services, gaining hands-on experience and direct client contact.
The program culminates in an ongoing lawyer role within VLA, supported by supervision and structured training. Starting salary is $95,187 plus superannuation and generous salary packaging (up to $15,900 p.a.).
