About the Role:
Join our dynamic, supportive and dedicated public health team consisting of 8 Speech Pathologists and 2 AHAs. Engage in opportunities to work across paediatrics and/or adult services including inpatient acute and subacute, community health, community rehabilitation, specialist clinics, school readiness funding and more. Applications are sought from suitably qualified Grade 1 New Graduate to work in the Speech Pathologist team at Echuca Regional Health.Learn from our longstanding, experienced and highly respected clinicians and practice educators to kick start your career or retrain in a new area of practice. We will help build your confidence, skills and knowledge and give you the support and structures you need to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide evidence-based individual assessment, treatment and consultative speech pathology services with a broad range of communication and swallowing disorders.
Work collaboratively with others whenever appropriate, in a manner which respect the contributions of all the team members.
Engage and actively participate in regular clinical supervision sessions with senior clinicians
- Participate in the delivery of relevant training, for example to teachers, nurses and other staff within the ERH and the community.
- Initiate and complete at least one formal quality activity annually.
Qualifications/experience required:
Evidence of a recognised degree in Speech Pathology
Eligibility for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia

Pre-Employment Requirements
This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and (where relevant) provision of a Working with Children Check and check on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme prior to appointment.
