Responsibilities

- Completing functional assessments in clients’ homes;
- Recommending and prescribing assistive technology and equipment, such as shower chairs, mobility aids and other supports.
- Completing home assessments and recommending modifications to improve safety, accessibility and independence.
- Supporting clients with falls prevention and risk management.
- Developing individualised strategies to improve functional independence and participation.
- Supporting clients to develop skills and routines that enable greater participation in home, work and community activities.
- Providing advice and education to clients, families and carers.
