We are seeking a pro-active and detail-oriented EHS Officer to join our growing team. You will perform site inspections, project audits and report preparation, while actively contributing to a positive teamwork environment. The role involves interaction with external customers (subcontractors, clients, consultants, suppliers, local authorities) and internal customers in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced and demanding environment requiring travel.

Key responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manageQuality Management Plans, Project Management Plans and Safety in Design Plans across multiple projects
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor constructionquality, safety and the workplace.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure allconstruction works meet project specifications, codes, and standards
- Oversee the management of our quality documentation including ITPs, NCRs, and defect records
- Coordinatesubcontractor quality compliance and drive best practices
- Assist in the preparationof overall system compliance across Quality, Safety and the Environment.




- Support the safety team withsafety inspections and administration , including assisting with SWMS reviews, toolbox talks, and hazard reporting
- Work closely with WHS team to promote a strong safety and quality culture
- Provide training and mentoring on quality procedures to site staff and subcontractors
- Participate in project handovers and ensure all quality documentation is completed and submitted

About you

- Strong knowledge and understanding of the commercial construction industry
- Formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety (e.g. Cert IV or Diploma) preferred
- Deep understanding of Australian WHS, codes of practice, and industry standards
- Understanding of Environmental Legislation
- Understanding of Quality Assurance Requirements
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Computer literacy - Google workspace, MS Office, MS Project
- High-level analytical, problem solving and creative thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with a project team
