We are partnering a privately-owned Australian business looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner/Management Accountant.
Reporting to CFO, you'll take ownership of financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis while partnering with operational leaders to provide meaningful commercial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Manage month-end close process, monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist with annual budgets, rolling forecasts and financial modelling
Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities
Maintain strong financial controls and compliance processes with support from external accountants
Drive reporting improvements and identify process efficiencies
Partner with stakeholders across the business to support decision-making
Directly manage the performance of an Accountant
About You
CA/CPA qualified or close to completion,
and experience in a Financial/Management/Commercial Accountant role
Strong Excel and proficiency with AI-enabled finance tools is preferrable
You are someone who enjoys building connections with non-finance teams and understanding what makes a business tick
Comfortable operating in a high-growth business environment and adaptable to changing priorities
